Job Details

Successful candidates will be appointed as Head Constables (General Duty) in the Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) along with standard allowances for Central Government employees.

Once appointed, you will be governed under the CISF Act and Rules, as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other CISF members.

You’ll also enjoy pensionary benefits through the National Pension System, applicable to Central Government employees joining service on or after January 1, 2004.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of two stages:

1st Stage:

a) Trial Test b) Proficiency Test c) Physical Standard Test (PST) d) Documentation

2nd Stage:

Medical Examination

All-India Basis Vacancies

These vacancies for Head Constable (General Duty) against Sports Quota are open to candidates from across India. The final result will be determined based on the marks obtained during the Proficiency Test and sports achievements. Of course, candidates must also pass the Trial Test, PST, Documentation, and Medical Examination, and fulfil other conditions outlined in the notification.

Application Fee

• UR, OBC, and EWS candidates: Rs. 100/-
• Female candidates, SC, and ST categories: Exempted from the application fee. Please ensure you submit the necessary certificates to prove your status. Be warned that any fraudulent claims will result in immediate cancellation of your candidature.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: 12th pass from a recognized educational institution with recognition for representing the State/Nation/International level in games, sports, and athletics. If your educational certificate is not from a State Board or Central Board, it should be accompanied by a Government of India notification confirming its equivalence to a 12th-class pass for Central Government service.
• Age Limit: Between 18 and 23 years as of August 1, 2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than August 2, 2000, or later than August 1, 2005.

Specific Eligibility for Sports Quota Applicants

Only meritorious sportsmen and sportswomen who meet the above eligibility criteria and have participated in relevant games or championships from January 1, 2021, to November 28, 2023, are eligible to apply.
