Relaxations:
- SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Terms of Engagement & Remuneration:
Project Engineer-I will be initially engaged for a period of three years, which may be extended up to a maximum of one year (including the initial period) based on the requirement and individual performance.
- 1st Year: Rs. 40,000/-
- 2nd Year: Rs. 45,000/-
- 3rd Year: Rs. 50,000/-
Additional benefits payable: Rs. 12,000/- per year towards insurance premiums, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear charges, etc.
However, candidates who have already completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and have applied for the Project Engineer post will be directly inducted as Project Engineer-II.
The remuneration for such candidates will be Rs. 45,000/- for the 1st Year, Rs. 50,000/- for the 2nd Year, and Rs. 55,000/- for the 3rd Year. The overall tenure will be limited to 3 years only.
Project Engineer I Qualification:
Full-time BE/B. Tech course from a reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines:
- a) Electronics – Electronics/Electronic & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Communication/Electrical & Electronics
- b) Computer Science – Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Science.
Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE/B. Tech:
- General/OBC: 55% and above
- SC/ST/PWD: Pass class
The method of conversion of CGPA to a percentage must be indicated in the application form.
Post-Qualification Experience as on June 1, 2023:
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant industry experience as of June 1, 2023, in any of the following areas:
Experience in IT Infrastructure Projects/IP Networking/Data Centre Projects/CCTV Projects/Sensors-based IoT Projects/any IP-enabled Electronic/Software product Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, or Product Support services is preferred.
